  • Is Mellow Escapes a certified and licensed company?
    Mellow Escapes, LLC is an independently owned agency and an operated affiliate of Cruises and Tours Unlimited, operating under a CLIA and IATAN. With the affiliation, we are registered under the state of Florida, California, and Iowa. Mellow Escapes Limited Liability Company is registered under the state of Georgia.
  • Do I need a passport?
    Yes, a passport is needed for all Caribbean travel except for travel to St. Thomas, St. Croix, St. John, and Puerto Rico as they are US territory. Passports are required to remain up to date and cannot expire within months of your travel date. Please visit our passes page to read more about passport requirements.
  • Do you book AirBnBs?
    Mellow Escapes is not partnered with AirBnB, however an agent can assist with booking certain villas in particular destinations. Please email to inquire before completing the quote request form.
  • What airlines do you book?
    We book all major airlines except for Spirit and Frontier Airlines.
  • Can I book my own airfare?
    We understand that some may want to fly with airlines that we do not book or you may “have the hook up.” LOL. So, yes, we can book resort-only escapes.
  • Do you book cruises?
    At this time we do not book cruises, however we are reconsidering adding it back to our service. Stay Tuned…
  • What are your hours of operation?
    We are available 24/7 via email. We reply in a timely manner, but please allow up to 1 business day for an email response. You can email us at info@mellowescapes.com. Phone calls can be scheduled.
  • Is there a service fee?
    A non-refundable service fee of $25 is required for all quotes. If you move forward with booking your escape, the $25 will be applied to your booking. If you choose not to book, the $25 fee is non-refundable.
  • What payments do you accept?
    All payments are processed directly to the vendor through an authorization form. Vendors accept all major credit cards.
  • Do you provide refunds?
    Deposits are non-refundable. Regular payments made on a booking are subject to the vendor’s cancellation policy. Each client is required to accept our Terms and Conditions. We highly recommend protecting your travel investment by purchasing travel insurance.
  • Do you offer payment plans?
    Yes, payment plans are accepted as long as your travel is not within 45-60 days of travel.
  • What happens if I cancel?
    Cancellation fees and policies are based on the vendor’s cancellation policy. Please ask your agent about the terms and penalties of your booking if you need to cancel. Travel insurance is highly recommended.
